Day 1

Upon arrival in Leticia, our coordinator will greet you at the airport to begin your ground transfer to the Maloca Renace Nature Reserve.

In this space of connection with the jungle and indigenous traditions, we will begin our Amazonian immersion by walking trails that traverse different ecosystems, exploring the region's biodiversity and its essential role in the conservation of the planet. We will visit the Wibuku House of Knowledge – The Eye of the Jaguar, where we will experience a unique cultural experience:

We will learn about traditional farming practices in the chagra (farmhouse).

We will discover local flavors and the value of Amazonian products.

We will learn about the ancestral use of medicinal plants and sacred trees.

We will share a conversation with an indigenous expert about traditional practices, with the opportunity to participate in the making of mambe and/or rapé.

Amidst this natural setting, we will enjoy a typical Amazonian lunch.

At the end, we will transfer to the Burú Nature Hotel Amazonas. There, at the Yoi Maloca, we will participate in the "Ancestral Hands" workshop, an intimate space for meeting and learning with Indigenous women, who will share their knowledge with us through their words, their hands, and their art.

We will conclude the day with an Amazonian dinner inspired by the authentic flavors of the region and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

8:00 a.m. Breakfast at Burú Nature Hotel Amazonas, preparing for a day of nature and culture.

9:00 a.m. Departure to the Leticia river port to embark on a 40-minute cruise along the majestic Amazon River to the Marasha Reserve, in Peruvian territory.

Upon arrival, we will enter the reserve through an ecological hike of approximately 2 hours, crossing trails surrounded by jungle. (During high water season, access is by small motorboat.)

At the reserve, we will enjoy a typical Peruvian Amazonian lunch, featuring traditional and fresh flavors from the region.

In the afternoon, there will be time for activities such as kayaking on the lake, artisanal fishing, or a traditional canoe ride, or simply relax and contemplate the natural surroundings.

4:00 p.m. Return by boat to Leticia. Before returning to the hotel, we will visit Santander Park to witness a unique natural spectacle: thousands of parrots flying through the sky and perching in the trees as dusk falls.

Transfer to the Burú Nature Hotel to enjoy an Amazonian dinner inspired by ingredients and recipes from the region.

Day 3

We begin the day with breakfast at Burú Nature Hotel Amazonas before heading to the river port of Leticia to begin our cruise along the majestic Amazon River.

Our first stop will be the Victoria Regia Nature Reserve, home to the world's largest aquatic plant, a natural gem that adorns the tranquil Amazonian waters.

We will continue to the Tikuna indigenous community of Macedonia, known as the artisans of the rainforest. There, we will enjoy traditional dances and learn about their colorful, handmade crafts, a reflection of their cultural identity.

Later, a typical lunch awaits us in an authentic indigenous maloca, before arriving at the charming municipality of Puerto Nariño, a vehicle-free area surrounded by nature and a vibrant culture, which we will explore on foot.

The afternoon will take us back down the river in search of a magical encounter with pink dolphins in their natural habitat. Although sightings are not guaranteed, the experience of sailing through Amazonian landscapes is unforgettable. (Tarapoto Lakes)

We'll conclude with a return to Leticia and transfer to the hotel, where we'll enjoy an Amazonian dinner inspired by the flavors and knowledge of the jungle.

Note: Between July and November, during the low-water season, access to some lakes may be limited. If access is not possible, an alternative activity will be offered to ensure the traveler's experience.
